The justices on the Supreme Court believe that “money is speech”, a judgment that will go down as being one of the most devastating assaults on democracy in a hundred years.

If you are going to be consistent (and shouldn’t lawyers be consistent?) then it is logical that shooting people is also a form of speech, as in “I hate that person. I have no way of getting even with him. He won’t listen to my reasonable arguments. I will shoot him”.

Killing people is an act, but it is also a message, and is clearly a form of speech. The justices have supported massive gun ownership as a result of an egregious reading of the Constitution; now do the obvious thing and make gun violence legal.

Oh, the triumph of little minds, lacking neither judgment nor wisdom!
