So the Irish have discovered O’Bama, and claim him as one of theirs!  Standard procedure for all presidential candidates. 
But isn’t it becoming a bit of a bore, this discovery of Irish roots?  Isn’t a much more interesting story the fact that he comes from Kenya, where the Rift Valley was the birthplace of homo sapiens.  Maybe (probably?) Obama is a direct descendant of Lucy or one of the many developing humanoids they have found thereabouts.  Maybe we can all claim Obama?  Hi, distant cousin!

Incidentally, on the Irish thing:  they have now discovered, examining the DNA of the British Isles, that most Irish are no more Celtic than anyone else.  The Celts were an addition to tribes who had wandered north from the Mediterranean after the last Ice Age, a conquering add-on and a minority, like the Vikings, the Normans, the Romans etc. The bulk of the population of the British Isles date back from the most original inhabitants.  Apparently there are more people with Celtic DNA in England than in Ireland.
