Yesterday, my brother-law, Martin Dean, died of heart failure in a hospital in Taunton, England. He had been in poor health for quite a long time. He was an economic historian, a tourism officer and local Council employee, and author of a book on railways.
Rest in peace, Martin. We will miss you.
(Forgive me, but I don’t feel like posting normally on this blog today)
I worked with Martin and can honestly say that bloke would throw you under the wheels of the nearest bus if he could get promotion out of it. Thank goodness he never had any kids and reproduced his personality. The town of Reading heaved a huge sigh of relief when he left and so did the local Liberal Party. Even though you are down in the flames mate I bet you still find the chance to dob your fellow hell-dwellers in.
The remarks above are not the Martin I knew.
