Defining philosophy
“Philosophy is the attempt to find good reasons for conventional beliefs”. John Gray, quoted on The Browser For “conventional beliefs” one could substitute “common sense”? Unfortunately, modern philosophy seems to address neither conventional belief nor common sense.
