Due solely, I take it, because of the huge drop in the value of the dollar. So now we get the government economists telling us how wonderful this drop is and how it is helping exports, while ignoring the fact that oil, food and anything imported has shot up in price. And the media, as usual, simply take the government line and the man in the street does not get a balanced view.
