Living like an Epicurean

“Live simply and prudently, with self-control; and moderation.  Seek simple pleasures, those that satisfy natural and necessary desires, chief of which are food, drink, clothing, a roof over your head, friendship and love”.

Someone called this “Buddhism without the multiple gods”.  I call it common sense, but unfortunately human being sometimes have a deficit in that regard.

In any event, this is one, if not the, most important beliefs of Epicureanism, and I encourage you, dear visitor, to add your thoughts and comments, and tell the world whether you, too, try to be an Epicurean .
