A British man recently took a persistent cold-caller who was trying to sell him his  products, to Court, claiming recompense for his wasted time. A small claims court awarded him £195 for his time and electricity, plus £25 costs.

There  comes a point in one’s life when time becomes  one’s most precious resource. Time-wasters should pay for their intrusions into one’ s privacy.  The man’ s name is Herman.  Well done , Mr. Herman , you don’t know it but you are a good Epicurean, acting to protect your time and privacy.  Epicurus would have approved.
